Korea Human Rights Foundation is an offshoot of the hope and spirit that came together in the ¡°Committee for Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Korea¡±. The Foundation was established to continue and build on the work that was started by the Committee.

Korea Human Rights Foundation is involved in organising human rights conferences which bring together human rights advocates and grass-roots activists to review the past developments and look ahead to rising challenges and issues; in organising support to human rights activists, scholars, and organisations; and in building the human rights infrastructure through publication and engagement in institution building.

The Foundation hopes to strengthen its contribution to human rights efforts by focusing on capacity building: human rights fellowship, human rights education exchanges, and international networking.
