Korea Human Rights Foundation is committed to develop and expand the efforts to support human rights activists and organisations in Asia, where the principles spelled out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights are being brought to life.

The Foundation brings human rights situations to light¡¦
- through publication of Asia human rights review, the Foundation raises the awareness of the human rights situation in Asia in the Korean and international community, to renew our common responsibility.

The Foundation supports human rights efforts and activists in Asia¡¦
- through programmes to defend and assist the work of human rights activists;
- through exchange and fellowship programmes, the Foundation engages in dialogue, sharing, and mutual recognition and understanding among human rights activists from different corners of Asia.

The Foundation brings Asia to Korea, and Korea to Asia¡¦
- in opening itself, the Foundation aims to communicate and stand in solidarity with human rights organisations and activists in Asia;
- to be together and to move forward together.
